Chiwara Collection
The Chiwara collection is inspired by the carved headdresses representing the Ci Wara, a mythical being credited with introducing agriculture to the Bamana people in Western Africa.
The elegant, linear and zig zag open work carvings of these male and female headdresses, as well as the rich symbolism behind them, inspired us to create this minimalist and geometric collection. ‘Every piece of Jewelry has a story to tell’ ®
All creations are handmade at the LALAoUNIS atelier in Athens, Greece and require an average of 2-4 weeks lead time unless otherwise specified. Please note that there may be minor differences between same style pieces. Prices can vary depending on particular sizes and materials requested.
