Description

The Chiwara collection is inspired by the carved headdresses representing the Ci Wara, a mythical being credited with introducing agriculture to the Bamana people in Western Africa.

The elegant, linear and zig zag open work carvings of these male and female headdresses, as well as the rich symbolism behind them, inspired us to create this minimalist and geometric collection. 'Every piece of Jewelry has a story to tell' ®

All creations are handmade at the LALAoUNIS atelier in Athens, Greece and require an average of 2-4 weeks lead time. Please note that there may be minor differences between same style pieces. Prices can vary depending on particular sizes requested and materials used.

Bracelet sizing guide

How to measure your wrist:

Please wrap a flexible measuring tape around your wrist, just below the wrist bone
Measure as accurately as possible, not allowing for movement, but not too tight either
We will ensure the bracelet fits comfortably on your wrist

Should you wish to have a tight fit and your measurements fall in-between sizes, ex.15.2cm, please chose the smaller measurement on our list, ex.15cm. If your measurement is 15.3cm and you want a normal fit, chose 15.5cm. For any measurement issues, or if you are unsure of your size, please contact us.
