Kallistefanos Collection
A wild olive tree is called “Kallistefanos”. Legend has it that the tree was planted by Hercules after competing his twelve feats. A wreath “kotinos”, made from the branches of this tree was offered to the winners of the ancient Olympic games as a symbol of great honour and achievement. Since antiquity the olive tree has been considered sacred in Greece. It symboilises peace, prosperity and victory and is a great source of inspiration for us.
